"No--he never has," Baileigh sighed in frustration, swirling the concoction in her Starbucks cup. She shrugged again, toed at a stray piece of gravel on the ground. "Something stupid. But, before that, it was the thing with Sydney, and..." She scrubbed at her cheeks again as though fighting off the urge to start crying. "I don't know how I can--I mean, who am I fooling? Who are we fooling? We're gonna raise a kid and we can't even work through ridiculous crap like this?"
