You know, somehow, hearing the president call Kayne West an asshole made me so very proud to be an American.

Also, if said asshole had interrupted someone his size who could, conceivably, take up for themselves, instead of a 19 year old girl who probably weighs 90 pounds dripping wet and wearing cement shoes, no one would be anywhere NEAR as pissed off.

But yeah, hearing the President call Kanye West an asshole was great.

Dude, his ass would've become very acquainted with my foot. Very quickly. Or that moonman statue would've met his FACE. I don't even LIKE Taylor Swift all that much, and that crestfallen, embarrassed look on her face made me want to kick his ass.

Wasn't it?! I think all the reporters that leaked it expected an adverse effect, but I'm all "Holy shit, an honest politician????"

I like some of her songs but yeah, that did it for me too. She just looked so awkward and shocked up there.

I know. I think it only won him more support.

Wait, what happened?

Taylor Swift (who, in case you didn't know, looks like a strong breeze could blow her down, she's so skinny and tiny) won Best Video in the Female Artist category at the MTV Video Music Awards. She got up and started to give her speech. Kanye West, runs up on stage, grabs the mic from her & says that he's really happy for her and all, but BEYONCE (nominated in the same category) HAD THE BEST VIDEO OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME. Then he shrugs and hands her the mic back. Poor girl was mortified.

Sounds like a dick.

He is a TOTAL dick. It's not the first time he's done shit like this. He does not understand things like, you know, there being a time and place for things, and when it's prudent to shut the hell up.

And then someone asked the President what he thought of the situation, and he called him an asshole. Which just made him that much cooler in my eyes.

I'm seriously staggered.
