Love:

--Massive amounts of candy in October.
--Massive amounts of food in November.
--Boot shopping.
--Buying a new coat.
--Costumes.
--Cute kids running around in costumes.

Hate:

--It's cold.
--It's the start of the 'Christmas' season. That drives me batshit.
--The not-so-cute kids and their pranks that ceased to be funny to me about ten years ago.
--It's cold. It bears repeating. I hate being cold.
