She got here last night at 11:28. She weighs six pounds and one ounce, and she's 18 and a half inches long. And she's very red and splotchy and wrinkly. She got my hair, poor thing. Her head's all funny shaped. She's the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen.

I know I should sleep more, but I just can't.

And happy birthday, Mollywog. I had Annie go get your presents from our house and bring them here so I could give them to you.

I couldn't have done it without you guys, but I guess I mostly meant, you know, physiologically, it just blows my mind. Which is stupid. I mean, REALLY, people have kids all the time, but the experience of it was pretty amazing.

Well, I meant Julian helping to create her and all. I can see how it's mind blowing though and thank you for letting me be in there, it was amazing. Well, I didn't like seeing you in pain but seeing her arrive was something I can't describe. I'm so proud of you.

I don't know if I'd want to see other people go through it but thank you. Helps when you can heal a crushed hand in seconds.

She is, I can't believe she's mine. *Baileigh fusses over Irina's blanket's and her little hat and socks but tries to be subtle about it* I'm good. I heal quickly so my recovery time's gonna be pretty short. If I could settle down long enough to sleep, I'd be even better, but I can't. *laughs sheepishly*
