She got here last night at 11:28. She weighs six pounds and one ounce, and she's 18 and a half inches long. And she's very red and splotchy and wrinkly. She got my hair, poor thing. Her head's all funny shaped. She's the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen.

I know I should sleep more, but I just can't.

And happy birthday, Mollywog. I had Annie go get your presents from our house and bring them here so I could give them to you.

I'd be jealous of me too, if I were you! Phew! That was...well, exhausting, but also the most amazing experience of my life, I think.

I just...can't imagine a bigger milestone. It was that amazing. I mean I know there'll be first steps, first words, all of that, but it's hard to think that far ahead and wonder what it'll feel like.

Yeah. I bet. I don't know, this whole pregnancy has been that way for me. You know, after I got past the initial 'oh my god, I can't do this' thing. Just when I think I can't be any more amazed, somehow I am.
